Exhibit Hall and Sponsor Information

Sponsor Information

My sponsorship includes an Exhibit Table, where do I find that information?

A separate document will be sent to you providing all the Exhibitor details. Please ensure that @kasner.org and @scu.edu emails do not go to your spam folder.

How do I register my guests?

You will be provided a link to an online form which you will use to submit all of your guest information. Final guest lists are due no later than August 19, 2024, at midnight. The form can be resubmitted with updated guest information.

How will seating work for our guests?

As a sponsor, you will have table(s) reserved for you and your guests in the Mission City Ballroom. Each table will have a table sign displaying your company logo. Your table(s) are reserved for you for the duration of the Symposium.

Kasner representatives will also be in the ballroom to direct you and your guests to your assigned table(s).

What are the hours of the Symposium?

Thursday, September 5th
7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. PDT

Friday, September 6th
7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. PDT

Is parking provided?

Yes. There is complimentary parking at the Convention Center, and third floor parking allows direct access into the Convention Center. For more information on parking, click here.

Where will Registration & Check-In be located?

Check-in will be located on the 2nd floor mezzanine of the Convention Center starting at 7:00 a.m. on both Thursday, September 5th and Friday, September 6th. Individual attendees should register online before the event here.

How many and what Continuing Education Credits can be earned?

The symposium intends to offer approximately 10.0 continuing education credits for those licensed in the State of California for the following: CTFA, CFP, CPA, Insurance, MCLE, and LSCLE.

At this time, the Jerry A. Kasner Symposium will only be seeking continuing education credit approval for the State of California.

A designated information booth for Continuing Education Credits will be located next to the check-in table. Sign-up sheets and certificates of attendance will be available for all who are eligible.

Will food & beverage be provided?

Yes, food and beverage for you and your guests will be provided as follows:

10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Morning Break

Will there be a mobile app?

No, there will not be a mobile app this year.

Will Wi-Fi be provided?

Yes, Wi-Fi is complimentary, and generously sponsored by Seiler LLP. Wi-Fi will be available in all meeting rooms and throughout the Exhibit Hall. More information on how to access the Wi-Fi network will be available on site.

How will session materials be made available?

Session materials will be made available online and for download. Additional instructions will be sent to all attendees before the Symposium. No printed materials will be available on-site.

Exhibitor Information

What is provided to the Exhibitor?

A 6ft. table and 2 chairs with a black tablecloth will be provided to each Exhibitor. In addition, there will be power cords evenly spaced throughout the perimeter of the Exhibit Hall. You are welcome to bring stand up banners, backdrops, and your own company tablecloths.

Exhibit Booth location selection

Exhibit booth location and selection is by level of sponsorship and/or date of purchase and will be discussed with you directly by a Kasner Event Manager prior to the symposium.

Where do I check in as an Exhibitor?

Check-in will be located at the second floor mezzanine of the Convention Center starting at 7:00 a.m. on both Thursday, September 5th and Friday, September 6th.

When are load-in/load-out times?

Load-in: Thursday, September 5th at 7:00 a.m. PDT
Load-out: Friday, September 6th by 3:00 p.m. PDT

Can we offer raffle prizes at our Exhibit Booth?

Yes! What a great way to collect those business cards at your Exhibit Booth! On Friday, September 6th, both before and after the Closing Keynote, we have allotted time for Sponsors & Exhibitors to come on stage in the Mission City Ballroom and announce your winners. If your organization would like to participate, please contact a Kasner Event Manager at [email protected] with your company name and raffle item, and we will get you scheduled!

Do I have access to a cart to help move my items?

No, the Convention Center does not provide carts to help load or unload your items. If you need additional assistance due to the size of your booth items, this assistance needs to be approved by the Kasner Symposium. If it is approved, then you will need to make separate arrangements for load-in and load-out directly with the Santa Clara Convention Center. Additional charges may apply.

Exhibit Hall Schedule

The Exhibit Hall will be open to attendees for the duration of the Symposium. To further promote attendee/exhibitor interaction, the following activities will also be scheduled inside the Exhibit Hall:

Is there a Host Hotel for the Symposium?

Yes, the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara is our preferred hotel for Sponsors and Exhibitors. The hotel is attached to the Santa Clara Convention Center. The Hyatt is offering a reduced rate of $299 for those who book before August 15th.

Can I ship booth items directly to the Convention Center?

The Santa Clara Convention Center no longer has a UPS/FedEx Store in house. The Convention Center will not receive any packages. If you are planning to ship items for your booth, you must make those arrangements with your selected hotel or a location of your choice and make the arrangements to bring the items to the Convention Center.

Can Exhibitors attend the Keynotes, General Session, and Breakout Sessions?

If you purchased a Premier, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Table Sponsorship, you have a designated number of complimentary tickets to attend all sessions. If you purchased an Exhibitor Level sponsorship, you can purchase tickets to attend the sessions for a discounted rate of $250 per person. You may contact a Kasner Event Manager at [email protected] if you are interested.

Where will the Exhibit Hall be located?

The Exhibit Hall will be adjacent to the Mission City Ballroom on the first floor of the Convention Center. This is a new location meant to maximize exhibitor and attendee interaction throughout the symposium.

Where do we park when loading in and loading out our booth items?

You may use the circle drive located at the front of the Convention Center to load and unload your items. However, you cannot leave your vehicle parked in this area for longer than 5-10 minutes.
